Sets in the City|Cowtown 50+

Format: Teams of 3 men and 3 women play men’s, women’s and mixed doubles lines in a weekly, social, round-robin format. This league is for players aged 50+

Level: Beginner +, intermediate, advanced* Please email League Coordinator for more information.

*Players must be able to serve, score, and play out points. USTA Rating not required. League is leveled when there are a sufficient number of players from each level. If not, levels are interspersed among teams. 

Seasons: Fall (October-November), Winter (January-February), Spring (April-May), Summer 1 (June-July) and Summer 2 (July-August)

When: Friday evenings weekly from 7-9:00 pm

Where: TCU Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center

Duration: 4 weeks

Registration Details:

• Sign up as a “free agent” and be placed on a team by the league coordinator
• Sign up with partial or full teams
• Players are encouraged to sign up with friends, family, spouses, coworkers, etc.
• You must be aged 50+ to participate in this league
• $50 for 4 weeks of play

*Season dates subject to change based on weather or TCU Tennis Team events. This is an outdoor program.
**Registration fees cover prizes, balls, court fees, and parties.

Registration Process:

• Create an account or log into an existing account on our TopDog Sports League Management website. Be sure to add your phone, email and t-shirt size to your account.
• Return to the homepage by clicking the blue “Fort Worth Tennis Association” banner in the top left corner. Scroll down past “News” to “Divisions”. You will see the current season open for registration a red button that says “sign up”.
• Click “sign up” and you will be directed to a new page. Scroll down to the bottom of that page and pick your team in the dropdown menu. You will then be able to continue through the registration and payment process.
• If you are a “free agent”, add yourself to the “free agent/individual registration” team. *DO NOT add yourself to an existing team without permission from that team’s captain or the league coordinator.
• If you do not see your team in the dropdown menu, email the League Coordinator to get your team added to the system.
• PLEASE NOTE: creating a TopDog account DOES NOT automatically register you for Fort Worth Tennis Association programs. You MUST register AND pay to be included in season rosters.
